We offer a wide range of HR and employment services through our partnership with DCL Business Services

Keeping on top of legislation and employment issues can be both time consuming and expensive. DCL has a team of professional HR Consultants and Employment Solicitors with extensive experience in all HR and people management issues. DCL’s strength is its uniquely personal approach. Every client is assigned to a Consultant who they will speak to directly in respect of any issue which allows them to gain an understanding of your business.

The HR services include:

  • Full audit of employment documentation (contracts, policies, forms)
  • Preparation or update of Contracts of Employment
  • Preparation or update of Employee Handbook
  • Preparation of letters (recruitment, disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, redundancy)
  • Preparation of guidance (disciplinary, grievance, performance, redundancy)
  • Face to face meetings, as required (subject to a maximum of 3 meetings per year)
  • Access to HR Library
  • On-line document access and download facility
  • Telephone Advice & Support
  • Employment Law News Bulletins (to keep you up to date with changes that may affect your business)
  • Preparation of Compromise Agreements
  • Preparation of Director Service Agreements

You can opt for the full range of services on a monthly fixed fee. Alternatively, you can choose just one of our services or a combination of services to suit your business’s individual needs.

If you opt for the full range of services you will also be protected by DCL’s Employment Law Tribunal Defence Service. If an employee makes a claim against you, DCL will:

  • Support and assist with preparation of a defence, including preparation of ET3;
  • Negotiate with ACAS;
  • Negotiate with the Claimant and correspond with Claimant’s representative;
  • Prepare and exchange witness statements, deal with disclosure of documentation and review all documentary evidence;
  • Appoint and instruct a barrister from a leading set of employment chambers in London to represent you in the unlikely event that a claim reaches Tribunal; and
  • Cover the costs of any awards made against you by an Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal.

To be covered by the DCL Tribunal Defence Service you must notify DCL immediately if a claim is made and you must have followed and implemented all advice given by DCL in respect of any such claim.
